I forget just when I wrote last but I have since landed 28 days educational leave to have a look round some of the factories etc. connected with the trade, & started by spending five days of it at Bournemouth & am now working my way north. Have had a bon time so far at Chch. There are some lovely places around there. I have some

views to send, also one or two snaps that I took. The weather has been quite summery, with the exception of one day. I hope I have as good when I go North. I don’t know just what my programme will be but I hope to spend a couple of days in most of the big towns & have a bit left for Porthill. I have a free ticket to Aberdeen but am not sure that I’ll get that far. I have plenty of cash to see me through. Too sleepy to write, can hardly keep my eyes open.
