Len Shepard – Letter 107

Glasgow
21-5-19

Dear May,

Here’s another assortment of p.c’s etc.  One lot I want you to keep for me till I come home.  It’s a few odd things I don’t want to drag around with me in case I lose the run of them.  The bit of ivy is off grandfather’s old house near Porthill.  The ration book & enlargements explain themselves – the latter were rather a failure

[Page 2]

I got your letter from Elsie today & was amused to hear that I had had broncho-pneumonia.  Of course you will know different by now.  The authorities must have gone mad.  Any how I am fit as ever again & having the time of my life.

Love to All
Len
