There is not much to write about this week although there are big things being talked about & probably this week will be our last in Egypt. We are back here being fitted up after spending a pleasant fortnight down on the canal. When we shift you’ll likely hear of our destination almost as soon as we do. I am sending today a small parcel with a few bits of silk for mother. I hope they reach her alright. Within a couple of days I will also post about 20 negs of Ismailia & the Suez Canal. Went over to see Charlie Wilson from Gore today & find that he is in Hospital. The marching seems to play up with his old wound. All the W’side boys here are quite well.

Papers & parcels are coming to hand fairly well now – evidently they are clearing out the Post Offices before we leave.
