Dear Mother
Once more we are about to have a bit of a flutter. What our luck will be remains to be seen, but it will probably be all over before my birthday & you will know all about it before this reaches you. We are all feeling pretty fit after a bit of a spell & are looking for another good win. If worth while will cable results. Military regulations forbid the use of a light & I can’t do much more in the gloaming.
